Vendor review

Turn a vendor’s questionnaire and documents into a preliminary memo, then improve the method for the next vendor.

Prepare an internal memo from a vendor’s questionnaire and supporting documents. A simple first pass covers what the vendor states, what their documents support, the dates that matter, and questions to resolve. Your review decides what needs follow-up and whether to proceed.

Request a preliminary memo

Substitute your own vendor and documents, attached or uploaded through Projects. Check the dates yourself. The memo is a starting point for your review, not an approval, a risk rating, or a replacement for your organization’s procurement process.

Refine the questions

Read the revised memo and change any questions that do not fit your review process. When the approach is useful, ask Para to save it as your personal vendor-review method for future assignments, without Acme’s details, and show what it saved.

Apply it to the next vendor

Review whether the new memo reflects your priorities and only the new vendor’s sources. If the method needs an exception, say whether it is just for Brightline or should apply to future vendor reviews. A saved method does not start work whenever a new questionnaire arrives; send another assignment, or configure a periodic check of a source Para can access. Event triggers for new documents are not currently supported.
