Email

Email Para a brief and your documents, receive the finished work by reply, and follow up in the same thread.

Send an assignment to your own Para’s email address and receive the result by reply. Write from the email address on your Para account; only you can write to your own address.

Your Para address

Open Channels and choose Copy your address beside Email. It looks like para+yourname@yourorganization.casemark.ai and reaches your own Para, with your projects and history. Messages to it from anyone else are ignored. The organization also has a Shared Para at para@yourorganization.casemark.ai, which any member can email; it replies to whoever wrote, and everything sent to it is available to the whole organization. Para replies from the address you wrote to, so a reply stays with the same Para. You can also ask Para for its address.

Send your first assignment

  1. Write to your Para’s address

Use the email account you signed up with. Give the email a useful subject, then describe the result you need and name the project. You can use your usual email app; there is no email plugin to install.

  2. Include the documents

Attach the source files, or tell Para which documents to use in an existing project. Without case.dev, Para uses Desk and Personal. With the plugin, name the project if you know it; Para asks when several destinations are plausible.

  3. Read the reply and follow up

Para works on the assignment and replies with the result and any supported finished files. Reply to that email to request changes; a reply sent while Para is still working joins the running assignment. You do not need to keep Para open in your browser.

Threads keep context

Reply in the same email thread to continue the conversation, such as revising a status update to lead with deadlines. Start a new email for a separate assignment, naming the project and any saved method you want Para to use. A new thread starts a conversation, not a new Para: saved personal guidance and accessible project documents can still be used. It does not put every earlier conversation in front of Para or create a separate project-access boundary. See what carries forward.

Attachments

Send up to 10 attachments totaling 20 MB per message. If a message exceeds either limit, Para replies with what to do instead of starting the work. Documents land on your Desk. With case.dev installed, Para files them in a project before analysis; name the project or answer its filing question. Email is not end-to-end encrypted: upload sensitive or larger source documents to Projects instead.

Replies list each finished file by name and format, marked attached or download link only when it is over the 20 MB attachment limit. Download links require Para sign-in. A Work-page notification by email is different from a reply to an email assignment: it summarizes the request and result, lists saved files by project, and links back to Work.

Next-step emails

New Paras include a Desk review that runs at 9:00 and 14:00 on weekdays in your time zone. When there is something worth your attention, such as a decision waiting on you, a document on your Desk, or work that needs another try, Para emails a short note of next steps. When nothing is new, it sends nothing. Set your time zone in Settings.

Tracking what happened

Each assignment appears in Activity, the panel beside Work, with its status, source, and time. Open Full record to review what Para did. Automations deliver their results as fresh messages; see Automations.
